About Us

Our Purpose

Nothing we can do will take away the pain, of that we know it's true but we would like to try and help relieve some of the emotional distress that you will be going through. We don't ever want you to feel alone and our aim is to offer support and understanding as you navigate your way through your grief and adjust to life without your precious little baby.

We share our story so those who feel our pain know that they are not alone, and to educate others who have not been through this experience so they can try and see the world from our eyes.

Our hearts hurt for every family that has been and will have to go through this. The pain is like no other and we will always look for ways in which we can help make such an unbearable time, a little more bearable.

Our History

I am Angela, Arran's mummy, Gordon aka Campbell, is Arran's Daddy and Ben is Arran's big brother.Arran is our sweet little boy who ever so silently, entered the world on the 1st of July 2020. Arran was stillborn. We found out the day before that his heart had stopped beating, I was 37 weeks and 2 days pregnant.

Losing Arran has been the most difficult thing we have ever had to face, individually and as a family, and we continue to face this heartache every single day. Life is not the same nor will it ever be the same. There will forever be this gaping hole that nothing or no one could ever fill. We have great support surrounding us but unless someone has been through this heartache, they cannot truly understand the waves of emotion that continue to ripple on as time passes by.

Campbell and I had no idea how many babies were lost during or shortly after pregnancy. Only when we found ourselves having to go through it, did we learn that there are so many others too. The thought of knowing that others have to go through this or may have already been through this is absolutely devastating and we want others to know that we are thinking of them. In a time when you can feel so alone in your grief, we want you to know there are others who know your pain and understand.

Arran was delivered at University Hospital Wishaw. The midwives and staff who took care of us will always hold a special place in our hearts. Leaving the hospital without your baby is a very surreal experience. You can't understand how your legs can keep going when every inch of you is screaming inside that you can't do this.

We left with a memory box instead. Not at all what we imagined but we absolutely cherish it. It contains such precious memories and keepsakes of our special little boy. We want to give a little something back to University Hospital Wishaw but more importantly, we want to help and inspire parents to capture the most precious memories with their baby.

A life need not be long to be meaningful.
